Hello all, I have put together a new unlock / menu system that was originally intended for use on YF International GPS devices, however it is now being used on a wide variety of other units, such as Navman, Garmin, Uniden, Mio, generic Chinese GPS's etc. It adds the ability to launch multiple applications, and includes a heap of handy applications! It is easy to edit - how far you take it is up to you! You can find out more, and download the software (all free) at my site: You are not allowed to view links. It was your original 320x240 menu that prompted me to create this menu (around a year ago). I have actually noted thanks to you in various forums (e.g. - DX Forums etc.) for giving me the idea.
'Systeminformation' is a great, and fairly flexible bit of kit! GPS_Menu_Pez is part 1 of 2 pieces of software I put together to change the default menu/shell on specific YF GPS Devices. While the YF Skin program (YFAP30_Pez) is not compatible with non-YF devices, GPS_Menu_Pez will work on most WinCE devices, and is proving very popular with non-YF users. GPS_Menu_Pez is 480x272, however there is 800x480 versions available and I believe 320x240 is available also (thanks to forum members posting their mods.) Cheers, Pez. Hi, I just purchased a YfATLAS4 gps system used and It has no gps system on it.
When i click on it it does nothing. I dont know a whole lot about the thing but in my info i posted everything from system info. It runs windows ce 6.o and i was able to put your menu on the sd card and activate it by hitting my gps icon however majority of the icon links do not work. I'm not hacker but i can do a few things if instructed and i just want to get this thing working and get the gps 'any' gps program back onto the root of the drive where it belongs so i can use it for it's intended purpose.
I would love to be able to use garmin or tom tom on it but if not then the standard is fine. Can someone PLEASE help me?????????? RomVersion: 82AV6.0D09M21401A.2.6 Software Version: V3.6.E018.9.23 OEM Info: YFAtlas4 Platform ID: 594E47 Device ID:000000. Thanks a lot for this menu system Pezcat19.
I took the 800x480 version and modified it for my Chinese no-name unit. I removed a couple of items that didn't seem to work on my unit such as task manager and also added an exit option on the top right of the menu. This works great to put the unit to sleep when you stop your car and switch off the ignition.
Then when you restart the ignition/car it automatically turns back on (or wakes up the unit) without having to do anything which is great. I must say that this menu system is very easy to edit and modify and really anyone can do it if they apply just a little thought and common sense to how it works. Having the sysinfo32.exe file to run so you can check the results of what you have just edited in the gps.ini file without having to actually turn on your unit is terrific.
I have got about 10 different sat nav programs (TomTom, Igo, Primo etc) on the unit and have set them all up with the relevant icons and got them all working (Still playing around with Navigon but I will crack that one eventually lol). A couple of them I made up my own icon for them using a program I downloaded called icon editor which is a really easy to use tool to make sure the icons look good and are the right size for the menu program. So thanks for putting this up for people to use. Anyone wanting more info should visit the website.

Or to view.Hi xr6falcon, how do you make the unit to sleep when you stop your car and switch off the ignition and turning back on with the car ignition? I been using this menu, but would like to mod it to make it sleep and restart with the ingnition Hi Roberton. Well what I do is I exit the sat nav program in the usual way so that it drops back to the Pez Menu. My Pez Menu looks like this. Then I just tap the Red Exit button which puts the unit to sleep without having to find and press the hardware button on top of the unit and then tell it to sleep which is the old way to do it. Then when you turn on the car ignition it wakes the unit up back at the Pez menu. Then you can just select the sat nav program that you want to use.
