Find nfsc.exe Now Right-click it and click on 'Set Affinity' 4. There if 'All Processors' is ticked, untick it and select any 1 processor (THIS IS ONLY FOR MULTI-CORE PROCESSORS, i.e. Those which have more than 1 core) Select ONLY 1 processor out of the list.
(aka CPU 0 OR CPU 1 etc.) 5. Click OK and you're done. It crashes because the game wasn't designed for multi-core CPU's. Hence you have to do the above instructions. You have to select ONLY 1 CPU in there.
